Dermatoscopy in the Diagnosis of Skin Metastases from Breast Cancer

Introduction. Skin metastases are the result of skin infiltration caused by proliferation cells remotely located malignant tumors occurring with a frequency 0.6–10.4 % in various oncological processes. They may be sign progressive neoplasm or manifestation newly diagnosed cancer. Due to high variability clinical manifestations leading misdiagnoses, limited number articles describe and dermatoscopic signs solid metastatic nodes. Aim: analyze features from breast Materials methods. A female patient has complaints slight pain itching lesions area on scalp. According her medical history, right mastectomy was performed for cancer 2012, followed hormone therapy willfully discontinued patient. Given uncommon localization scalp, differential diagnosis made spectrum between cylindroma, multiple basal cell carcinoma. biopsy carried out confirm diagnosis. Results examination. The pathological process revealed itself through nodes up 2 cm diameter, pinkish color, dense, painless palpation, poorly demarcated. Dermatoscopically: polymorphic vessels an erythematous background, chrysalis-like structures. Breast were verified histological immunohistochemical Conclusion. first recurrence. Dermatoscopy can facilitate differenting them other diseases. Density diameter prognostically significant. Ifdetected do not fit standard pattern neoplasms, verification is recommended out.
